The office of the Dean (Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship) is now called Research and
Development Cell (RDC) as per the requirement of UGC. RDC is responsible for the implementation of
the institute’s overall research, innovation and entrepreneurship programes which are focused towards
advancement of human knowledge and development of society. Research efforts
are directed towards solving complex problems, delivering social benefits and driving economic
prosperity, nationally as well as globally. The RDC aims (a) to provide needed administrative support to all
faculty in proposing and executing their research /consultancy projects, (b) to improve research
culture in the institute through various training programe and seed grant schemes, (c) to promote innovation
and entrepreneurship amongest students and faculty, (d) to assess the research related SWOT and
provide needed intervention. If required, It can assist departments to formulate strategic planning for
research and executing the plan. It co-ordinates management of the research of the institute as a whole,
encourages faculty and departments to increase research grant from different funding organization in India,
encourages national and internationals Collaborations.
